| The Olympic Peninsula has much to offer. The ecologic diversity includes rain forests, alpine meadows, farm lands, pacific ocean beaches, rampant rivers, and protected inland sea shores and wetlands. Along with beautiful scenery, there is an abundance of wildlife and waterfowl. Both the Olympic National Park and many Washington State Parks on the peninsula offer trails accessible to wheelchair users. Additionally, many sections of the proposed 150 mile Olympic Discovery Trail from Port Townsend to Forks are complete and barrier-free. The buttons on the left divide the peninsula into areas. Move your mouse over a button to see that area on the map. Click a button to explore that area's accessible trails. | |
